Wuerth. The daughter of the late Mr. William W. Gibson and Teresa Gallagher
Gibson of Irvine, Kentucky, Ms. Fister was also preceded in death by two
brothers; William W. Gibson, Jr. and Joseph G. Gibson; and a sister, Mary I.

1996, as well as from her volunteer work with Lexington Catholic High School
and God’s Pantry. A Kentucky Colonel, PTA president, substitute teacher,
school volunteer, and beloved member of the community, Ms. Fister instilled
a love of education in her family which is her true legacy. By her guiding
light, her family became teachers, doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers,
entrepreneurs, social workers, and trailblazers. Her wonderful storytelling
